As long as I can remember… (graffiti on walls at home, in school text book, in homework pages, etc…)

*what first interested you in drawing?
The comic I read and animation I watched as a child.
*what interested you in Greek Myth?
I… don’t really know… uh… incest… (What?!)
*what type of music do you hear while drawing(if you listen to any).
Uh….it’s a really big range. (from pop, rock, new age, to classic….)

Traditional: Pencils, color pencils. Digital: Painter + Photoshop. (must be together)
===About Drawing===
What program do you use?
Corel Painter 9, Adobe Photoshop CS2,
What tools?
Digital: Wacom Intuos 3
Traditional: HB pencil, 0.5 & 0.3 mechanical pencil, Sakura Micon pens, Pentil Hi-Polymer erasers.
What pens do you use for inking or are they pencils?
Pencils. I rarely ink, but if I do I use Sakura Microns.
How long does it take to make one comic page and what programs do you use to make them?”
I have a hard time timing myself…O__Olll
About a few hours from rough to clean line art. I don’t ink them.
Scan into photoshop and adjust line darkness and clean up, then tone with brushes and finally add text.
Do you have any plans for the manga page beforehand?
So do you do sketches before doing the exact page?
Yes, because a good story is THE THING for a comic. Good execution comes right after. In fact, I spend a majority of the time on story development. Once I have good solid, interesting plots, drawing them out is easy and smooth. I type out script and sketch thumbnails for every page. Research for environment references, edit and changing dialogues if necessary, planning speech balloon placements…when I have good thumbnails, I sketch out each page on letter size paper, then refine then with darker and cleaner pencil lines (0.3 HB mech. Pencil). Then, scanning and edit/clean up with photoshop curves, brushes and eraser. [see other note titled “comic making process for detail]
===About Coloring===
1. What type of Prismacolor colored pencils do you use? (I know there’s like Verithin and Premier and stuff like that)
When I first started using them, there was only one. They didn’t make so many lines of colorpencils back then…XD but it looks like I have the one they call Premier right now. Verithin has harder core and can be sharpened to a finer point.
2. Do you shade using 1 colored pencil for one part (i.e. 1 pencil for the skin and 1 pencil for the hair) or multiple hues?
I usually end up using to many colors. I put layers upon layers to build depth. One color has its unique style, but usually end up looking more graphic and flat.
3. What color(s) do you mostly use for skin?
under natural lighting: Peach, deco peach, salmon pink, blush pink, pale orange, and… I forgot…@__@
but skin tone always depends on the image. (mood, setting, and lighting within the illustration)

Why did you portray Hades as a good guy and Zeus as bad? (I mean like, just about everyone is letting him be the big bad guy in cartoons and stuff, but I never really thought of him as anything but the Greek god from Hercules and well, Zeus is…well he’s Zeus.)
I don’t think anyone could be “born evil”. Besides, in the classic myth, they drew straws to decide who gets to rule over what. Hades unluckily drew the straw of underworld, and that’s suppose to make him evil? I don’t think so… as for Zeus, well… You’ll find out more about Hades and Zeus after “MYth: A Promise” gets done.
